    I hate to tell you this my friend, but you went about, the wrong way. To start remodeling a camp trailer, you pull off the siding first so you can check for water damage in the frame. To take out all the walls inside, you only make the entire structure unstabil! Then when it comes to lining up panels later, you find yourself pushing the wood frame around, and it's harder to line things up. And you get a chance to git rid of criters, before you tear out any interior walls. Try it,...it will cut your worry in half.

    Awesome rebuild! I've done a couple Airstreams, I have a 1985 Fleetwood prowler and now I have an early 60s Mayflower that I've just acquired. These things are a lot of fun! You did a great job with the paint work. I would guess that the sanding was very tedious if not nearly impossible especially in the teal colored sections that seem to have texture in the aluminum. Roughly how much time did you spend preparing to paint and then doing that sanding? The caulk sealant that you used seems like a lifesaver product. I have used some gutter sealant on my airstreams and it works great because of the aluminum color. But I have not tried painting over that product and so now I know a product that suits the purpose and is paintable. Thanks for sharing all of this online. Informative and also an inspiration

    Id like to know how you guys got the breaker bar in the tensioner pulley. I have about 1 1/4" space to fit in there. Im at a standstill. I have the same 2004 xc90 with theT6. I actually removed the intake manifold as I was changing the gasket but I just can't fit in the other side with the breaker bar never mind a T60 attached to it

    • @ProZacksProjects
      @ProZacksProjects 3 місяці тому

      I used a breaker bar and that’s a bit skinnier than a ratchet and the bit I used. They make shorter ones that would improve it a lot but I made sure with what I had. I hope this helps

      @@ProZacksProjects I finally got it thank you. Im a little worried getting that belt back on. It such a tight space. Thanks for the very detailed video. It helped me a lot, even pointing out that the 2 bolts at the bottom of the alternator did not have to come all the way out. The one just could not. Knowing that ahead of time saved a lot of struggle. Will you ever post a video of changing that same vehicles serpentine belt or timing belt? My big belt is in great condition but I took of the timing cover just for fun and that is a very worn timing belt.
